I Must Open My Heart

 

If rejoicing is off my agenda, I must open my heart.

If lamenting has no place, I must open my eyes.

If questions are disallowed, I must open my mind.

If loving is far removed I must open my my soul.

If giving is not included, I must open my purse.

When living, I must live fully.

The dance goes on, even when the music stops.
