Still Thankful

I am grateful today and thus I humbly pray.

This latitude of gratitude capacity endued

Shall follow on my way, post Thanksgiving Day.

Throughout this time of sublime reminder,

May the God of grace make me kinder, gentler,

Giddy in the belly, curious, reflective,

Welling with wonder and swelling with appreciation.

And not just today, yea, e-very-day, singing,

Bringing thanks, appreciating what God is creating

In me ... in you ... in His unfolding purpose

For all He has made and allowed to discover itself

And Himself.
