We Come as Invited Guests
October 26, 2017
We are homeless, hapless, hungry souls invited to an elegant feast.
We see glory. It is no small matter.
How did we get here?
We come because we are invited.
Holy, holy, holy, we gasp in fear and wonder.
The weight of the glory has fallen upon us and we are crushed beneath its power into a wholeness we could not have imagined.
Broken, we are healed.
Overwhelmed, we are strengthened.
Stripped bare, we are clothed.
Speechless, we are empowered to speak.
Distant, we are brought near.
Wounded, we are wrapped in healing balm.
Scattered, we are gathered.
Lost, we are found.
Cold and disengaged, we are warmed and activated from within.
Doubting, we are endued with faith.
Shamed, we are welcomed. Hopeless, we are infused with hope.
Crude, vulgar, earthy, and vain, we bow down in the presence of holiness and are made holy.
HERE IS THE STORY OF THE PICTURE AT THE TOP.
