Sometimes You've Gotta Run

"Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself." - John 6:15, NIV
You're no Jesus, but if you follow Him, He will work through you at times in such a way that people will start looking at you as something pretty special.
While you really are special and made for a purpose, that purpose is not for you to rule over people as an earthly king with the kind of power that people tend to perceive as valid and valuable.
If Jesus resisted being taken by force to be the wrong kind of king and receive premature adulation, we should certainly run from it as fast as we can.
That kind of "power" can destroy us and everyone under our influence.
