The Springing of Spring
March 25, 2017
The last drizzles of winter,
Barely detected
Easily deflected
We have rejected the splinter
And welcomed the plank
Take it to the bank
Though weary hearts sank
Let spring now enter
Our sphere of existence
Half-hearted resistance
Dogged persistence
The stride of a sprinter
Seasons always change
Emotions run the range
And we rearrange our thinking and our habits
For every new, yet patterned reality.
Really?
Really.
It is going to be a great day earthside
Brace yourself for a grand rotation
