What Can You Say in 100 Words?

Two lessons to me on blogging:

1. Relate to where people are by speaking from your present emotional location.
2. Say it as succinctly and clearly as possible.

I love what Steven Heartsill does with his 100 word blog posts. They are worthy of emulation. I am not sure I have what it takes, but he does:

All Toes in the Water:

"Daily exploring the world. Offering thoughts on what found. 100 words at a time."

Especially, take a look at "Patience," "Victory,"  and "Pain,"for honest, open, and vulnerable encouragement.

Perhaps what people really need today are honesty, openness, vulnerability, and encouragement from a fellow traveler.
